Summer Hitting Clinics

August 7, 2024 - 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Rising 4th grade and up

The UNCG Hitting Clinics are for girls entering 4th grade and up who want to improve their offensive game and play softball at the collegiate level. These camp opportunities will provide the chance to learn offensive skills and strategies from current UNCG players and coaches. Campers will learn fundamentals of the swing and work basic to advanced drills that will aim to improve their skills. We will also have video analysis to show the different parts of the swing and what a swing at the collegiate level looks like.

• Participants will be split into age/skill specific groups during camp

• Water and Gatorade will be provided 

• Please bring turfs/tennis shoes for indoor facilities

Summer Pitcher/Catcher Camp

August 7, 2024 - 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Rising 9th Grade and Up

This UNCG Spartan Prospect camp is for girls grades 7th - 12th who want to improve their pitching and catching game and/or have aspirations of playing softball at the collegiate level. The pitching camp will focus on mechanics and fundamentals that are essential for power and consistency, as well as break down various spins and pitch types. Catchers will work specific drills for framing, blocking, and steal throws. Pitchers and Catchers will come together at the end of camp and learn about “the battery” from members of our team and coaching staff.

• Participants will be split into age/skill specific groups during camp

• You will not need to bring a catcher

• Water and Gatorade will be provided

• Please bring turfs/tennis shoes for indoor facilities

Summer Elite Defense Camp

August 7, 2024 - 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Rising 9th grade and up

The UNCG Spartan Elite Defense Camp is for girls entering 9th grade and up who aspire to play softball at the collegiate level. The defensive camp will focus on infield and outfield drills and skill development. Campers will have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from members of the UNCG coaching staff and current student-athletes.

●There will be no pitching or catching – please sign up for the pitching/catching camp instead

● Please bring turfs/tennis shoes for indoor facilities

● Water will be provided
