2026 Lil’ Spartan Softball Camp

July 8th, 2026

The Lil' Spartan Softball camp will focus on improving players’ softball skills. All players will have the opportunity to work alongside the UNCG coaching staff and current student-athletes for both individual and group instruction. The defensive session will cover specific fundamentals and drills relating to correct throwing mechanics, glove work, and footwork. Pitching and catching will also be covered in this clinic for players to increase skill and knowledge of their position. Pitchers will learn techniques and drills that focus on correct pitching mechanics. Catchers will learn techniques on blocking, framing, and throwing. The offensive session of camp is designed to improve players' mechanics, timing, and pitch recognition. Hitters will participate in drills that demonstrate fundamental techniques and are key components to being an elite hitter. This clinic will mentally and physically prepare you for the upcoming season!

• Participants will be divided into age- and skill-specific groups throughout camp.
• Instruction will cover the fundamentals of infield, outfield, pitching, catching, and baserunning.
• The hitting portion of camp will focus on swing fundamentals.
• Each session will incorporate drills, techniques, and team strategies utilized by the UNCG softball program.
• Please bring a towel and change of clothes. Some drills may include water.
• Please bring turf shoes or tennis shoes for indoor training areas.

2026 UNCG Summer Prospect Camp

July 28 & 29, 2026

10am – 5pm each day
Rising 7th grade and up
$350

The UNCG Summer Prospect Camp is designed for girls in 7th grade and above who aspire to play softball at the collegiate level. This two-day camp provides a competitive training environment where participants will be grouped by age and skill level throughout all sessions. Campers will build on existing fundamentals, develop advanced skills, and gain valuable experience through instruction led in a collegiate-style atmosphere. Opportunities for pitchers and catchers will be included, along with live scrimmage sessions during the event.

• Participants will be divided into age- and skill-specific groups throughout camp.
• Instruction will cover the fundamentals of infield, outfield, pitching, catching, and baserunning.
• The hitting portion of camp will focus on swing fundamentals as well as advanced offensive concepts used within our program.
• Each session will incorporate drills, techniques, and team strategies utilized by the UNCG softball program.
• Video analysis will be used to provide visual instruction and reinforce key concepts.
• Please bring turf shoes or tennis shoes for indoor training areas.

All campers must be picked up by 5:00 PM each day.

2026 Elite Hitting Camp

The UNCG Elite Hitting Camp is designed for girls in 6th grade and above who aspire to compete at the next level in softball. Participants will be grouped by age and skill level to create a competitive and challenging training environment throughout camp. Campers will strengthen their hitting fundamentals, refine existing skills, and work through advanced offensive concepts to elevate their performance at the plate.

• Participants will be divided into age- and skill-specific groups during camp sessions.
• The hitting instruction will focus on both swing fundamentals and advanced offensive approaches used within our program.
• Each session will include drills, techniques, and strategies utilized by the UNCG softball team.
• Video analysis will be incorporated to provide visual feedback and reinforce key concepts.
• Please bring turf shoes or tennis shoes for indoor training areas.
